“I’m fortunate to work in a field where clients and their homes speak to my artistic self, and where my co-workers share my enthusiasm and have become lifelong friends.” -Victoria Dunivin

Meet The Designer

The daughter of an artist, Victoria Dunivin spent her childhood sketching and painting. As an art major in college, she discovered a talent for drafting and architectural planning, which led to a two-year position with an architectural firm. To better utilize her creativity, she later joined a prominent San Diego design firm for six years, where she solidified her reputation as a gifted interior designer. In 1989, she established her own business.

From the outset, Victoria’s business flourished, building upon referrals from her many satisfied clients. Today, thanks to Victoria’s ability to cultivate close, long-term working relationships, Dunivin Design Group often develops projects for the grown children of some of her early clients.

Victoria draws her artistic inspiration from many sources, including her worldwide travels, particularly to Ireland. Dancing is her passion, her escape from the rigors of daily living. She and her husband, Derrell, were members of an Irish dance troupe, and performed Ceili, “kitchen” or set dances, at Dublin Square in the Gaslamp for several years. Flamenco Dancing has filled Victoria’s dance card for the last five years.

Now Meet The Rest Of The Group

Chelsea Dillon-Miller, assistant designer and indispensable “Girl Friday” who helps track down just the right tile, fabric, pillows, furniture and accessories for clients. Chelsea recently graduated from SDSU and has finished an internship with the Sana Art Foundation. She has worked with Sana and the California Center for the Arts, Escondido Museum on a prestigious exhibition, Rituality, which opened in 2007. We look forward to seeing her pursue her interests working for a museum in the not so distant future. In her off-hours, Chelsea still surfs the waves at Scripps Pier.

Pam Edgerton has teamed with Victoria for twenty years, collaborating on design ideas and drafting them into working blueprints for contractors and fabricators. Pam loves the purity of line on paper and like magic translates ideas into readable plans.

Mary Milovich handels book keeping and billings for Dunivin Design Group. Mary loves to travel and read when she isn’t organizing and consulting with her business clients.

Derrell Dunivin is Victoria’s husband, her “Irish Prince,” and her biggest booster. Derrell’s people skills in sales and marketing make him the life of every party and everyone’s favorite. Victoria and Derrell enjoy travel, Irish music, and dancing together through life.

Erin Fuisce (Irish Whiskey) was the lone team mascot, until Guinness Bridgette, a playful long haired dachshund, joined the Dunivin pack three years ago. The little ladies warm sofas and chairs and lift everyone’s spirits. When the girls are on patrol, no delivery person goes unannounced.
